What Ecclesiastes did not envisage
A fragment of a review on the meta-novel "An island for whites" (2022) . . . . .
What has been will be again, will it not?
"What has been will be again," says Ecclesiastes. But ... This has never been! The main difference between the current Catastrophe and all the previous ones is that this Catastrophe is entirely man-made! If in the past states and empires decayed and collapsed unintentionally, due to corruption of the citizens and under the onslaught of external enemies, now their own agitators have set the goal of self-destruction of Western nations.
In the past...
1) State propaganda did not call their own state the source of evil. 2) The crowd was given bread and circuses, but no one claimed as though the crowd had the right to this, or that somebody must sustain it! There was no such a utopia as achieving equal results for all citizens and classes. 3) The Romans thoughtlessly allowed aliens to populate Roman empire, but no one set such a goal consciously, as Western nations and America do now! And no one subserviently made the language of the invaders (Spanish, like now) a second language! 4) It would never have occurred to anyone to propagate the nonsense as though all races and peoples are statistically equal in all respects! And if we do not observe this in reality, so much the worse for reality! This is because of our racism, and therefore we must be done away with. Soon in America (and in Europe) "whites will become a minority soon and that's good," Biden said. I.e., the white will have nowhere to run! Like the Jews, the whites will find themselves in the diaspora everywhere but (unlike the Jews) without having their country as a national home to which to flee see the White Manifesto. 5) In the past, no one repented that his own race allegedly exploits other races, and therefore it is necessary to move your own race to the end of the line, making it second-class citizens, and generally do away with the white race (WASP) in its own country (which Biden and the entire state are actively implementing)! 6) Even if someone then was concerned about climate change (allegedly as a result of human activity), no one would set a goal to destroy their own economy in order to "oppose" real (but actually invented!) climate change. Or rather, in order of redistributing national wealth in favor of backward countries and peoples, which is the true goal of climate madness. 7) Even if medicine then allowed the possibility of "cosmetic" surgery to transform a man into a woman and vice versa, it would never occur to anyone to castrate themselves much less their own children! 8) It would never have occurred to anyone to fight against masculinity in boys and men, undermining, among other things, their defense capabilities! 9) And though the practices of perversions and abomination in ancient Rome routinely took place, it did not reach this level. 10) In the distant past, it was not possible to accumulate a gigantic public debt of 33 T dollars and annually approve a budget with a deficit of 1 T dollars, continuing to increase the debt by 1 T annually. This was not possible simply because money was only gold or silver coins. With the advent of paper money, there was also a temptation for the state to issue banknotes not backed by gold, and there were many such examples in modern history. The framers of the US Constitution were aware of this abuse, so they introduced into the Constitution a requirement that the dollar be backed by a fixed amount of gold. However, for 100 years also this paragraph of the Constitution has been cynically violated, while the criminal US government has created the above-mentioned astronomical debt already in counterfeit money (one more component of the Catastrophe).
I.e., in the past there was neither a globalist center in Davos, nor the Frankfurt School in America, which would develop destructive ideologies and goals and put them into practice, having all the wealth of the world at their disposal!
Having artistically described all this, Mikhail Weller is, apparently, the only author who understands and outlines all the features of the current era with such straightforwardness, depth and scope, to which English-speaking conservative authors do not even come close. And this is all the more surprising that Mikhail Weller achieved such a fundamental understanding, so to speak, "in absentia" unlike us, who have been living here for decades. Therefore, the "Island" is the "artistic encyclopedia of the Catastrophe."
It should be specially emphasized that in the West all the themes of this unique Weller meta-novel are untouchable! It is unthinkable that the (supposed) English version of the novel would be mentioned anywhere in book reviews, or sold in bookstores, or that some politician would admit that he held this book in his hands or even walked a meter away from it! Such is the paralysis of thought and the omnipresence of self-censorship in America and the West. And this absolute impossibility of the circulation of the "Island" in the West is another clearest evidence of the Catastrophe.
Qui bono
I often wondered: in whose interests? How can the ruling classes of the West be interested in self-destruction of their own civilization and their own white race? What is their "interest" here?
The only explanation I've come up with is this. All this illustrates the case when the (suicidal) "idea took possession of the masses": not of some of them, but the masses of the richest and most influential of this world. At that, it's not merely some (immaterial) idea: it is the idea funded by the most rich and powerful!
In response to this question, Andrey Illarionov recently said the same: the package of ideas of globalism and remaking of the world has taken possession of the rich and powerful of this world to such an extent that it trumped the usual considerations of profit and self-preservation.
Carroll Quigley in "Tragedy and Hope" put it this way.
There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical Right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups, and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960's, to examine its papers and secret records.
It was this group of people, whose wealth and influence so exceeded their experience and understanding, who provided much of the framework of influence which the Communist sympathizers and fellow travelers took over in the United States in the 1930's.

"Что было, то и будет", сказано в Экклезиасте. Но... Такого не было! Главное отличие нынешней Катастрофы от всех предыдущих в том, что эта Катастрофа рукотворна! Если в прошлом государства и империи приходили в упадок и разрушались ненамеренно, вследствие порчи граждан и под натиском внешних врагов, то ныне собственные агитаторы поставили целью саморазрушение западных государств.

1) Государственная пропаганда не называла собственное государство источником зла. 2) Толпе давали хлеб и зрелища, но никто не утверждал, что толпа имеет на это право, и имеет право на то, чтобы её содержали! О достижении равенства результатов для всех граждан и классов и речи быть не могло. 3) Римляне бездумно позволяли пришельцам заселять себя, но никто не ставил такую цель сознательно, как это делают западные государства и Америка ныне! И никто услужливо не делал язык захватчиков (испанский) вторым языком! 4) Никому и в голову не пришло бы пропагандировать бред, что якобы все расы и народы статистически равны по всем показателям! А если мы этого не наблюдаем в реальности, тем хуже для реальности! Это из-за нашего расизма, и потому с нами надо покончить. Скоро в Америке (и в Европе) "белые станут меньшинством и это хорошо", сказал Байден. Т.е. бежать белым уже будет некуда! Это было невозможно просто потому, что деньгами были только золотые или серебряные монеты. С появлением бумажных денег, появился и соблазн для государства выпускать не обеспеченные золотом банкноты, и таких примеров в новой истории было много. Авторы Конституции США знали о таком злоупотреблении, и внесли в Конституцию требование, чтобы доллар был обеспечен фиксированным количеством золота. Однако уже в течение 100 лет и этот пункт Конституции цинично нарушен, а преступное правительство США создало вышеуказанный астрономический долг уже в фальшивых деньгах (еще один компонент Катастрофы).
То есть, в прошлом не было ни глобалисткого центра в Давоса, ни Франктфуртской школы в Америке, которые вырабатывали бы разрушительные идеологии и цели, и проводили бы их в жизнь, располагая всем богатством мира!
Художественно описав все это, Михаил Веллер является, по-видимому, единственным автором, который понимает и очерчивает все особенности нынешней эпохи с такой прямотой, глубиной и охватом, которых и близко нет у англоязычных консервативных авторов. И это тем более удивительно, что Михаил Веллер достиг такого фундаментального понимания, так сказать, "заочно" в отличие от нас, живущих здесь десятилетиями. Поэтому "Остров" и является "художественной энциклопедией Катастрофы".
Нужно специально подчеркнуть, что на Западе все темы этого уникального мета-романа Веллера неприкасаемы! Нельзя и помыслить, чтобы (предполагаемый) английский вариант романа был где-либо упомянут в книжных обозрениях, или продавался в книжных магазинах, или чтобы какой-то политик признался, что он эту книг держал в руках или даже прошел в метре от неё! Таков паралич мысли и вездесущность самоцензуры в Америке и на Западе. И вот эта абсолютная невозможность циркуляции "Острова" на Западе есть еще одно ярчайшее свидетельство Катастрофы.

Я часто задавался вопросом: в чьих интересах? Каким образом правящие классы запада могут быть заинтересованы в саморазрушение собственной цивилизации и собственной белой расы? В чем здесь состоит их "интерес"?
Единственное объяснение, к которому я пришел, таково. Все это иллюстрирует случай, когда (самоубийственная) "идея овладела массами": причем не какими-то, а массами самых богатых и влиятельных мира сего. И это не просто (нематериальная) идея: ее финансируют самые богатые и могущественные этого мира!
Примерно то же сказал недавно в ответ на этот вопрос Андрей Илларионов: пакет идей глобализма и переделки мира овладел богатыми и могущественными мира сего настолько, что обычные соображения выгоды и самосохранения отошли на задний план.

Richard Lamm offered a (sarcastic) plan how to destroy America 1. We must first make America a bilingual-bicultural country. History shows, in my opinion, that no nation can survive the tension, conflict and antagonism of two competing languages and cultures. 2. I would then invent multiculturalism and encourage immigrants to maintain their own culture. I would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal: that there are no cultural differences that are important. 3. We can make the United States a Hispanic Quebec without much effort.
